My first time in the great city of Chicago. I loved everything about it. I can particularly recommend the Palmer House Hilton (notice the beautiful ceiling of the lobby bar in the second picture), the historic Exchange restaurant on Michigan (see their atrium in the fourth picture), and Momento Cantina on East Monroe (especially their octopus tacos). Wonderful to hear such great papers from the country’s top scholars of American literature.
